CT
CT came to us yesterday after being surrendered by his owners. He was immediately put on the euthanasia list due to an easily regulated thyroid condition. When we rescued him he was 50 lbs, his nails curled under his feet, his ear canals were barely visible due to all the debris in them, and he was in dire need of a bath. He’s named CT for curly tail – his tail has 2 kinks at the end from being broken in the past. He went to the vet today and received a pretty good prognosis! He is heartworm negative, but does have a heart murmur. We will need to recheck his thyroid levels in a couple weeks to make sure the medication is working properly. He also needs a dental cleaning, but can’t go under anesthesia without a comprehensive lab work panel as well as chest x-rays. Total vet expenses for CT are estimated at $375. If you are able to contribute towards his care, please use the ‘Donate’ button at the top of the page and put ‘CT’s vetting’ in the memo. He will be all fixed up and ready to go to a loving forever home soon!
