Name Raffle!
This little cutie was rescued from the Royse City shelter. He was found limp and lethargic in front of their shelter and one of their wonderful volunteers took him to the vet immediately. He had various sores on his body that needed to be drained and cleaned and his dewclaws had grown into his paw pads. He is only about half of his recommended body weight and is also heartworm positive.
The good news is he is in good spirits and is eating and drinking well. He is walking better today after not even being able to stand up Tuesday. He has shown interest in toys and wags his tail frequently.
This is day 1 of a long recovery for him, but we love him already and know he will live a safe, comfortable, happy life from here on out. We’re having a name raffle to raise money for his medical bills.
