Gumbo – Adopted –

Gumbo was adopted July 31, 2017. He joins DFW BB alum Churro in his new home.

His bio: Meet Gumbo! Picked up as a stray in Amarillo, this pretty little bluetick boy has come a long way to get to the Big-D. We estimate that he is about a year old and although he still has all of the goofy, floppy silliness of a puppy, he also has the wonderful ability to be calm and hang out on the couch when he needs to.

Gumbo is kennel trained, doing well with housetraining, and gets along great with other dogs (this doesn’t extend to cats – anything that’s not a dog might as well be a squirrel in his book – so Gumbo will need a home with no kitties/rabbits/etc). Being an athletic boy, Gumbo would love an active home that would enjoy taking him on adventures and that has a tall, sturdy fence so that he can’t take himself on his own! He would do best with a canine playmate. He loves to play with his toys and is even content to play alone as long as he gets to be close to his people. He loves to give tons of kisses and snuggle, especially under the covers!
