Emily – Adopted –

Emily was adopted December 11, 2014! She now has a wonderful, understanding mom to hang out with all day long!

Update: Emily is a 7 year old female Beagle who loves to be your companion! She is a great cuddler and is spunky and playful, too! She is a sweetheart and has soft fur that she loooooves for you to pet. She lives for belly rubs and will roll over to ask you for them. She’s great with other dogs and likes to be around people. She would be a great buddy for someone home during the day! She would also do very well in a home with a doggie door.She is spayed, heartworm negative, vaccinated, and microchipped. She also had her teeth cleaned recently! She had a bladder stone removed when she came to the rescue and does not need any medication other than a prescription food (Royal Canin Urinary SO) for the rest of her life to ensure no stones develop. It’s comparable in price to the organic-type foods that many people are opting for these days. She may need periodic urinalyses to ensure her urine is healthy, but that’s just as a preventive measure. She will certainly repay you in kisses and tail wags!

Update September 2014: Emily has lost 8lbs since becoming a Beagle Buddy! The photos where she has slimmed down are the most recent. 🙂
