Ella – Adopted –

Ella was adopted January 7, 2017! She is now a spoiled only dog with a human sibling playmate!

Her bio: Ella is a 2-3 year old happy girl. She can be timid and shy when meeting new people, but does warm up quickly and likes to be petted. She enjoys the company of other dogs but doesn’t quite understand how to play just yet – she can come on a little strong. Her foster siblings, DFW BB alums Hattie and Mister, are teaching her how to be a good Beagle. She does bark from time to time but only when she is in her “comfort zone” such as when new people come to the house, or there are dogs on the other side of the fence. She likes to be with her people but she doesn’t have to be in your lap. She just wants to find a comfy spot in the same room you are in.    She minds really well and sits for a treat. Her biggest challenge has been to figure out the dog door. She knows how to get her head in but not sure how to get the rest of her body through the door. She gets along well with other dogs. She is crate trained, but doesn’t normally stay in the crate with her foster family. She sleeps on a chair in their bedroom and hasn’t even attempted to get on the bed. She is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and has had a recent dental cleaning.
