Jan and Greg

Jan and Greg were part of "The Beagle Bunch," a group of 6 Beagles we rescued in 2012. They were adopted together and found an incredibly loving and patient family to help them adjust to being beloved family members after years of being outdoor dogs without much socialization. Their mom wrote the following about them:

Jan was adopted on May 2, 2012.  She was rescued from a puppy mill in Kansas where she had lived the first five years of her life.  She came to me with no social skills and was terrified of almost everything.  She won my heart when she smiled at me while out walking..  Her big puppy eyes could win her anything she wanted!  Her great loves were her brothers (fellow Beagle Buddy Greg and a Brittany named Fred), car rides, and taking walks.  She is greatly missed!!!

Greg was adopted on May 2, 2012.  He was rescued from a puppy mill in Kansas where he lived the first three years of his life.  Greg came to me with limited social skills and was very nervous around anything new.  Greg was such a sweet dog.  He loved his pack (Beagle Buddy Jan and a Brittany named Fred), taking walks, car rides, tearing up squeaky toys, and eating.  He was also an excellent runner and loved the thrill of getting me to chase him.  He is greatly missed!!!
