Virginia came to us from the Fort Worth shelter the week of Christmas. Virginia was very thin and not well taken care of -she was heartworm positive, had obviously been a mama several times before, had parasites, and had a very dull coat. Even still, she was still just the sweetest girl. She was friendly with dogs and people and loved to snuggle. Unfortunately, after a month and a half in foster care, she stopped eating and we discovered she had GI lymphoma. With her foster mom by her side, she crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 14, 2017.
