Tobie – Forever in Our Hearts –

Tobie was a 13 year old male who came to us from the Tri-City shelter. He had a wound from a dog bite on his neck, so he had to wear shirts to protect it so he couldn’t scratch it. It healed up beautifully and he was such a good sport about everything! He was a trusty companion who loved nothing more than being next to you, be it on the couch, in the car, or anywhere in between! He was a low-maintenance guy who likes to be outside and lived for feeding time. Unfortunately, it came to light that Tobie was dealing with multiple issues – severe arthritis, degenerative joint disease, hypothyroidism, and heart disease. We managed Tobie’s condition for several months until it was apparent that he was no longer comfortable. Tobie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on September 15, 2019, with his loving foster family by his side.
