Tater Tot – Adopted –

Tater Tot was adopted March 6, 2015! Her new human brothers keep her plenty busy and her new family is committed to continuing her weight loss, which is currently over 15 pounds!

Her bio: Tater Tot came to DFW Beagle Buddies after she was surrendered to the Longview shelter. At 49.3lbs and with two ingrown toenails, her owners surrendered her because she “wasn’t moving around well.” Thankfully, Tater Tot is doing GREAT in foster care now that we have her on thyroid medication and she has already lost over 15lbs! She will need a family that will keep her on a strict diet of light dog food – no table scraps for this gal! She is friendly with other dogs, people, and children. She is already much more active than when she came to us and will continue to improve as we get the weight off of her small body! She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and has undergone heartworm treatment.
