Shelby – Forever in Our Hearts –

Shelby was an absolutely precious 8 week old Beagle/Dachshund puppy that came into our care after she was attacked by a dog. Her owner brought her into a local ER but no longer wanted her, so we took over her care and treated her wounds. Unfortunately, most of the wounds were concentrated around her neck and they eventually swelled to the point that it was difficult for her to breathe. Sadly, despite constant monitoring and oxygen therapy, we had to make the decision to end her suffering only 2 days after she came to us. Shelby crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 8, 2015.
