Beagle Bio

Roki was adopted January 9, 2013. His loving family sent us this fabulous update on him: “July 9th was his 6th month adoptday, we celebrated with a new toy, a long family hike and extra strawberries for dessert (he LOVES strawberries!) We cannot believe it’s only been 6 months! It feels like he has been with us forever. Gone are the days when we went out for drinks after work, slept in, or took vacations on a whim. And we couldn’t be happier!!  Now our days revolve around Obi, we are always on the look out for dog friendly places (there is a frozen custard place in Frisco that give you a free “poochie cone”, a small cone with vanilla custard!), and we are constantly looking for parks to take him on hikes. We take him to the dog park 1-2 times a week, but that is mainly for socializing him. He much prefers going on long walks with us in the woods where he can sniff wildlife to his hearts content.”

His bio: Roki was brought to us on an emergency basis after he was hit by a car and found by someone who took him to the Irving Shelter. He has recovered from injuries sustained in the accident and has gone through heartworm treatment. He has a lovely disposition and is a friendly, adventurous, playful guy. He gets along great with other dogs, loves people, and is fun to have around. He loves to play with toys, chase balls, and steal socks. 🙂 He is current on vaccines, microchipped, and will neutered.
