Percy – Adopted –

Percy was adopted July 15, 2016! He is enjoying being a city dog in Dallas and loves going on lots of walks!

His bio: Percy is as sweet as they come! Despite having a rough start to life as just one of many Beagles in a hunting pack, he’s quickly adjusting to the good life as a pampered pet. He’s still a bit shy initially but has warmed up to his new “pack” and gets more and more social every day. He even made lots of new friends at an adoption event recently! He loves to sit on the couch and be petted-he will nudge you when you stop! He does fine with other dogs. He seems a bit more shy with men than women. He is kennel trained and almost has the hang of potty training in his foster home. He is on the small end of Beagles at only weighs 21 pounds! He has not been a noisy beagle – he rarely barks and has only howled a few times. He does “squeak” when he gets excited, which is too cute! He is still learning the difference between what is a toy and what isn’t, but he isn’t destructive with anything. He would likely be fine in an apartment with walks. He is around 3 years old, vaccinated, neutered, has undergone heartworm treatment, and is microchipped.
