Leelah – Adopted –

Leelah was adopted January 21, 2020! Her new siblings Precious (middle) and Dexter (R) have been showing her the ropes in her forever home!

Her bio: Leelah is a darling lilac girl who is calm, sweet, and loving. She is a bit shy initially, but will warm up quickly. She loves to snuggle with people and with other dogs. She’s moderately playful, but doesn’t require much exercise other than a quick sniff around the backyard. When she first came to DFW BB in November, she had a couple seizures that we now believe were due to a severe ear infection. After being on antibiotics for 5 long weeks, she is now feeling much better and has not had any seizures in over a month! She is otherwise healthy, though she could stand to put on a few pounds. She has an adorable head tilt that may be due to the previous ear infection, but it doesn’t bother her one bit. She would be a wonderful addition to almost any home! She is 3 1/2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
