Beagle Bio
Clay was adopted March 15, 2018! He joins a canine brother, Astro, in his new home. He loves going on car rides!
His bio: Clay is a 3 year old tri-color male. He’s on the smallish side—barely 13” tall and a bit thin at about 16 1/2 pounds. He is just bubbling over with energy and love for the whole world. His foster family has been working on the “down” command to keep him off the furniture, but so far it’s been an uphill battle—he’s determined to be a lap dog. For all his small size he’s strong-willed and will need someone with the patience to train him. He does walk well on a leash and sleeps peacefully through the night in a crate. He was used to a doggie door, and in his foster home he’s had to learn to ask to go out—at first he had a couple of accidents, but once he got with the program he’s become trustworthy in the house. He’s very friendly with other dogs. One strange quirk: he hasn’t barked once since he came to live in his foster home! Clay is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, has had his teeth cleaned, and is heartworm negative.
