Celia – Adopted –

Celia was adopted March 24, 2015!She’s too busy giving her new brother kisses to pose for a photo.

Her bio: Celia is a 6 year old tricolor female who was rescued from the Grapevine shelter with a ruptured globe. She had emergency surgery to remove her right eye, but gets around just fine with the left one! 🙂 Here’s what her foster family has to say about her: Celia is by far the easiest foster we have ever had! She is a happy little girl who loves treats! Every time we come in from being outside she thinks she should get a treat and goes to the pantry where the treats are kept and jumps around in excitement (while attempting to sit)! When she came to us she didn’t sit for treats and didn’t know how to use the doggie door but she has picked up all of these things very well. She loves to be outside and especially loved to be out when we had the ice/snow as she tried to lick it all away.

Celia is a very loving dog who loves to give you big sloppy kisses and really likes to sneak in a big lick when you least expect it. She will follow you around the house and sit quietly while you work or get ready for work or whatever. As I type this she is sitting quietly beside my chair. Although she does well with the other dogs, she doesn’t have a lot of interaction with them. When she does interact with Mister and Hattie she really loves to play with them and they are both really good with her. I think she came from a home where she was an only dog. She won’t jump up on furniture but she will pull herself up on the couch to cuddle with you. She sleeps on a bed on the floor on our room and is really good about going to bed when it is time. Sometimes she will go in the kennel and curl up for a nap.” Celia is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has had her teeth cleaned.
