Bruce – Forever in Our Hearts –

Bruce was a 7 year old Puggle who weighed 74lbs when we rescued him from the Arlington shelter a week before Christmas. He got down to 34lbs, for a shocking weight loss of FORTY pounds! He was a surprisingly agile and active boy and even loved to play with and fetch toys. The most adorable thing he did (other than giving sweet kisses) is he nuzzle his blanket and stuffed animals. He was full of personality, that’s for sure! Bruce was not good with other dogs – he didn’t like to share his toys or his human. As time went on, Bruce became increasingly concerning behaviorally toward people (in addition to the dog issue he always had) and unfortunately, after months of weighing options and trying everything we could think of, we elected to let him go on March 22, 2019. He was surrounded by his foster family and was very loved. We wish we could have done more for you, sweet boy.
