Beagle Bio
Bennie was rescued from Arlington Animal Services in July 2011 and was our second dog that we rescued. He was a spunky, active, happy, playful little guy and was always on-the-go. He started having seizures on Christmas Eve 2011 and was diagnosed with epilepsy. His seizures were never under complete control, despite trying several medications at different dosages. He visited the ER vet 8 times in 9 months because of seizure episodes.
On September 20, 2012, he had an unknown number of seizures overnight and 14 seizures in 1 hour that morning. Because of the severity of the episode, we made the difficult decision to put Bennie to sleep. His tenacity and zest for life will never be forgotten.
