Beagle Bio
Annabelle was adopted March 26, 2018! Her new mom said Annabelle is a wonderful addition and that her new sister Daisy loves chasing squirrels with her!
Her bio: Annabelle is a 6 year old gal and is a true sweetheart who is just happy to be around you. Her tail rarely stops wagging – when it does, she’s busy snoring on a dog bed somewhere. 🙂 She’s a cute little pudgy gal, but we’re working on that! She needed surgery to correct an abnormality in her hip. We’re not sure if she was hit by a car or what might have happened, but she was a stray at the Fort Worth shelter and that’s what they suspect. She was not using the leg at all prior to surgery (though she happily trotted around on 3 with no complaints!) but is now starting to use the leg comfortably! She’s also currently receiving Adequan injections for some arthritis she has in her knees, but the surgeon thankfully said no surgery is needed and the series of injections plus weight loss should help tremendously. She shouldn’t need any additional care for the hip. She’s friendly with other dogs, big and small. She’s a great little companion and will surely bring joy to anyone around. She’s spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and vaccinated.
