WANTED: Foster homes!
We are in desperate need of foster homes! There are so many precious Beagles sitting in shelters waiting for our help as we type this. Old, young, big, small, male, female… every type of Beagle! We are only able to rescue dogs that we have a willing foster home for. Fostering is easy – there are no weekly events to attend, and the rescue pays all the vet bills! All you need to do is love the dog until we can find their forever home! Our Beagle Buddy (and foster superstar) Nicki wrote this:
“It’s such a rewarding experience and we’ve been able to meet and help so many amazing dogs. Everyone always tells me that they would never be able to foster because they’d get too attached. I look at it this way, for that little while I was everything to that dog and with out me and the other Beagle Buddy volunteers there wouldn’t be cute beagles to look at they’d be behind bars in shelters. And in a moment of perfect honesty, I cry like a baby every time one of our fosters goes to their forever home! I love them like they’re our own and I can’t imagine doing it any other way. If anyone has some extra space on their couch and in their hearts please consider fostering.”
