Churro was adopted May 18, 2017! Now known as Charlie, he joins a Beagle sister named Katie in his forever home.
His bio: Churro is a handsome 6 year old male beagle who came to DFW Beagle Buddies from the Grand Prairie Shelter after being found as a stray. He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up and trusts you, he is a calm, gentle sweetheart!
Churro absolutely adores other dogs and cats and would love a home with another dog or sweet kitty to play with and snuggle up to. He is very food motivated and extremely smart! Most likely an “outside dog” previously, he is adjusting wonderfully to life inside and is doing great with house training. He does well in his crate and keeps to himself, normally only barking if he needs to be let outside, or if there is a squirrel that needs chasing!
As he blossoms in his foster home, Churro is beginning to enjoy toys and will probably start to play fetch once he becomes more comfortable. Since he is shy and a little timid to start, he would prefer a somewhat quiet, experienced home. If there are children, calm older children would be best. Churro will be an amazing friend to a patient and understanding family!
